Although it may come as a shock to many, Wilson’s most successful team this year was arguably the ultimate frisbee team. Having both a boys and girls team, the fruits of on-field success are enjoyed by a large group of DCSAA champions.
The boys team is on their way to nationals in Illinois after having their most successful season yet and currently being ranked 23rd in the country. Both the boys and girls teams also finished second in the Virginia States tournament.
Led by juniors Jacques Nissen and Aaron Rosenthal on the boys team, the frisbee team is looking to gain even more national attention in Illinois on June 9 and 10.
Next year, both teams take their dominance around DC around the country and establish themselves as an elite frisbee powerhouse.
