Pair a ruffly sweater with silky bottoms to give your look a different quality, and take a risk with a statement piece you’re just a LITTLE afraid of.

All those little things you think aren’t worth it… show them some love! The magic of these looks lie in the details—ribbed socks, gloves, a belt, leg warmers. Build your look around the small special things: a shirt that lines your favorite pendant, a simple top and jeans to highlight your favorite shoes, or an updo to show off your long earrings.

It never fails. Sticking to a single color, especially if it’s layered, is VERY chic, and as a bonus, you don’t have to worry about clashing (P.S.—headphones are the ultimate accessory).
