When you consider what shoes someone wears, it may seem unimportant, but it can actually reveal a great deal about who they are. They may be easy-going, athletic, or simply a trend-follower. Or maybe they’re all three!. So…what shoes do you wear? Comfy shoes? Stylish shoes? Colorful shoes? Whether they’re Sambas, Uggs, or Nikes, here’s what we think each shoe says about you:

Converse, a classic. Although they haven’t been as trendy lately, these originals go with anything. Though a bit basic, they can be anything – from an everyday shoe to a sporty look –  and nobody can judge you! They’re acceptable for any outfit from dresses to jeans. If you wear these, you are most likely a very practical person who likes all-in-one.

Moving on to some cozier shoes… Uggs! Everyone’s favorites, perhaps the most basic. Nowadays, it seems everyone owns a pair. Whether your Uggs are for comfort, practicality, or pure vibes, if you’re buying Uggs, you know that they are perfect for fall or winter, and are a comfy staple that will keep you warm. They may be overpriced, but that’s why fuggs (fake Uggs) exist! But we have to ask, if it’s 70 degrees outside…what are you doing?

Speaking about comfy shoes, these are completely the opposite. If you wear ballet flats, you are definitely not a trend follower. That’s a good thing; it means you’re not afraid to be yourself. If there are any ballet flat wearers out there, congrats! They are a versatile shoe, and if you wear them, you are definitely a mysterious, cool, artsy person who for sure has the best sense of style. You don’t let people judge you, and you are THE trend-setter.

Then there’s, of course, the Yeezy foam shoes… Serious question, do you actually think these are stylish? If these are your go-to shoes, please tell us why. They are useless for every occasion, and we cannot imagine what could possibly be keeping these on the market. 

Moving on from those.. Sambas. An easy-going, simple shoe that brings together all your outfits; you are probably either a trend follower or simply want a shoe for every outfit. Even if you have all the different styles and almost every color offered, it’s fine! We get you, they go with anything and will never fail in a last minute outfit crisis. Whichever type you are, with Sambas, we will never judge (but can’t say we will applaud you for creativity).

And then there’s Crocs. Crocs are a bit childish, but no one can deny how comfortable it is to wake up and just slide your foot into your shoes of the day. They are also waterproof, which is a huge bonus! Although they are not the most stylish, they are very practical, and no one will judge you for them.

Birks used to be a basic, weird, and often hated shoe, but to others, it’s always been the most comfortable everyday shoe. Their fame has come and gone, but it seems to be here to stay. They come in a variety of styles, and are actually great for your feet! Perfect for both the beach and a lazy school day outfit, just please keep your toes away!

Finally, last but not least, flip flops. Flip flops only show one thing. That you are not afraid to show your dogs! If you are the one to wear flip flops, you are either extremely lazy or super brave, and just know we will be noticing either way.

Even though picking the right shoe may seem like a small issue, it says a lot about someone’s character and their personality overall. So be careful, and please remind yourself of our thoughts tomorrow when you’re picking out which pair of shoes you should wear to school! •
