Last week Wilson students Evan Pisani and Carl Stewart won DC Root’s “Run Joe,” a 48 hour film competition. Participants had 48 hours to write, shoot and edit a film based on the given prompts. The contest was open to filmmakers of all skill levels. The founders of DC Roots Production Company presented the award and $200 prize to Stewart and Pisani during Kadesha Bonds’ mass media class.
