Wilson Class of 2012 Alumnus Chris Adams was shot and killed in his car in Northwest Washington on Thursday, March 12.

At 1:30 a.m., officers responding to gunshots in the Brightwood Park neighborhood found Adams in his car at 5300 block of 8th Street NW, near Jefferson Street, and pronounced him dead upon arrival.

The following day, March 13, Metropolitan Police arrested 24 year old Glenn Walker for the shooting, charging him with first degree murder while armed.

Following the MPD identification of the shooting victim as Adams, the Wilson community had an overwhelming response on social media, with acknowledgments of his death, words for his loved ones, and memories of his life.
