On Friday, May 1, 2015, Wilson students and members of the Wilson Best Buddies Chapter attended the Best Buddies Prom at the Howard Theatre. The event was hosted by the Capital Region Best Buddies organization.

This is the inaugural year for the Wilson Best Buddies Chapter. Devoted to creating friendships between students with and without disabilities, the club is already a success with over 20 members. Juliette Fratto, sophomore and member of Wilson Best Buddies, said “Best Buddies prom was a really fun experience.” Sophomore Abby Koerner added, “next year I’m coming back with higher heels and a Five Hour Energy to do it all over again and even better!” Videographer Carl Stewart attended the event and created a video.
