Students are morosely beginning to see their first glimpses of the school year, but moods don’t have to drop along with the temperature. The anticipation for the new and old shows premiering this fall is more than enough to get students through the start of the year.
Upcoming series like “Modern Family,” “Scandal,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Dancing With the Stars,” and “Game of Thrones” are classics that have been loved by people of all ages for years.
“Scream Queens,” a new sure-to-be-popular satire, is a classic combination of comedy and horror. A killer is unleashed onto the sorority members of the Kappa House. The show has a vintage horror flick theme, and stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, and many more.
If murder, mystery, and crime are your thing, the upcoming shows “How to Get Away With Murder,” “Law & Order,” and the new show “Blindspot” are definitely for you. “Blindspot” follows the FBI investigation of a woman who appeared unclothed, in the middle of Times Square, with no memory whatsoever.
“The Vampire Diaries,” another prominent TV show, will be saying its final goodbye in the upcoming season. The supernatural drama centers on the romances and conflicts between a group of bloodsuckers and the many complications that come along with the vicious world of fangs.
Whether you’re into fantasy, crime, comedy, or the shows you’ve already fallen in love with, the next few months give you a great selection of premieres that are sure to get your mind off of the school year.
