Meghan Dayton

Meghan Dayton , Public Relations and Communications

Meghan is a senior who was been writing for the Beacon since her freshman year. She is a PR rep for the beacon and has THE bangs. Not just bangs. THE BANGS. Meghan likes to treat people with kindness, not just because Harry Styles told her to. Her dog is twenty pounds overweight, but maybe it’s just because its heart is so big. Meghan sometimes forgets the difference between “by,” “buy,” and “bye.” Meghan makes birthdays special.

When I got tickets to see Lorde for my birthday in January, I immediately started counting down the days until April 8. Ella Yelich-O’Connor, better known as Lorde, released  “Melodrama” and, in...

DC Independent Film Festival is a little iffy

Adelaide Kaiser, Magazine Editor February 28, 2018

One Friday night in DC, we struggled to find something to do. Go out to dinner? Go see the new Fifty Shades movie (before seeing the first two)? Nothing seemed right. However, after doing a little research,...

Still thinking 'bout Dua Lipa

Still thinking ’bout Dua Lipa

Adelaide Kaiser, Magazine Editor November 29, 2017

Dua Lipa has been a breakout artist for 2017, so when I heard she was playing at the Fillmore I really wanted to go. After calling my mom from school on the day of the show, she snagged some cheap tickets...
